Meyer's lilac is a deciduous ornamental shrub with a height of 1.2 m. It blooms in May-June in small clusters of lilac flowers. Because of the many inflorescences, the bush looks like a small lilac fragrant "cloud". The shrub grows well on calcareous and slightly acidic soil in the sun.
The plant is drought-resistant, winter-hardy. After flowering, it is necessary to remove the dried inflorescences. The plant does not form root growth. After a while, the shrub grows and it can be divided.
