Coreopsis is a perennial herb. One of the few perennials that blooms continuously from July to September with yellow flowers. If you regularly cut off the faded buds, then new flowers will appear from the axils of the leaves. There is a form of coreopsis with large double flowers. The height of the peduncle is 50-70 cm. And the whorled coreopsis has low peduncles - 30 cm high.

It blooms in August-September with small, asterisk-like flowers. The plant is bushy with finely dissected leaves. It will look good in a rock garden. Any garden soil in the sun is suitable for all coreopsis. The plant does not tolerate locking, but watering is necessary in the heat.
