Globularia or Sharovnik is a herbaceous perennial plant. At the end of May, it releases flower stalks 10 cm tall with blue inflorescences, similar to balls. This is how the name Sharovnitsa originated. Grows well in a sunny place, prefers alkaline soil. But it also feels good on slightly acidic sandy soil.
The lower shoots take root and the globularia, gradually expanding, forms a dense green carpet. In drought, watering is necessary. As a ground cover blooming with blue balls, the plant is very interesting and quite rare.
