Tamarix, grebenschik - deciduous ornamental shrub 2 m high. Blooms in May with small pink flowers that appear before the leaves. A large spreading bush of tamarisk during flowering resembles a pink cloud. Then there are long thin carved leaves that adorn the plant until the frost.
Tamarix is suitable for any well-drained soil in the sun. It does not tolerate heavy clay soils. The first 2 years after planting, young one-to two-year-old plants should be sheltered in the winter months. You can use agrofibre.
