Viburnum is a deciduous ornamental shrub 2.5 m high. In April it blooms with large flat white flowers, and in the fall, clusters of red berries appear in their place. They are a bit bitter, but after the first frost it is quite possible to eat them.
The berries remaining on the bush are well preserved until spring. In nature, viburnum grows along the banks of rivers and lakes. Prefers well-recessed soil with a high humus content. Grows well in the sun and in light partial shade.
