Yucca is a perennial winter-green rhizomatous plant with a height of up to 1 m. The leaves are stiff and long with sharp tips. In June, on a high peduncle 1.5-2 m high, large white bells bloom up to 5 cm in length. After flowering, the peduncle must be removed. In autumn, "babies" are formed around the main trunk. After two or three years, when they grow up, the main trunk dries up, and each new plant blooms. At this time, yucca looks extremely impressive!
The plant is drought-resistant. But in winter, when the ground freezes, the yucca, like all evergreens, lacks moisture and the extreme leaves can dry out. In the spring, they are removed and the plant grows new leaves. Any drained garden soil is suitable. In heavy dense soil, you need to add sand.
